Want to know what’s new on the yard? Perhaps some of you already know the drill: – we’ve had the sun, the temperatures are consistently warm and yes it’s approaching harvest time at Tony’s vine yard!

His chickens supply the manure for growing the grapes organically. The fruits appear to be ripening nicely and turning a dark shade of purple.

I’ve yet to be privileged enough to be invited into Tony’s secret wine – tasting elite but I’m hoping this year is the one! Going by the beaming faces on some of the pics I’ve seen of his pressing team it’s a tradition that goes down as well as the plonk with our connoisseurs. Some are still camera shy (Brian prefers to be on the other side of the lens) but watch this space for the Loughborough Organic vintage 21 with the exquisite bouquet to rival others including local producers.
