PURPOSE is to be given to the lives of people who suffer from social exclusion through working with a not – for – profit social enterprise.
Residents of the Bell Foundry Estate have the opportunity to sign – up with Real Purpose to set up their own business, work on their job applications skills including CV and interview skills as well as volunteering and training.
Funded by People Zones the project is led by director of Real Purpose Jess Talbott. She said the Bell Foundry enterprise, employment and volunteering iniatitive was set up by them in Loughborough to integrate those who are socially disadvantaged with a dedicated team to find work they enjoy and care about.
Also backed by Leicestershire County Council and Leicestershire NHS Partnership Trust Real Purpose motivates socially – excluded, hard – up and mentally unwell people to prepare for and find work.

Jess said they intend to help residents of the estate with a number of things:
“We give guidance on becoming self-employed, setting up a business, employment support, including career advice and guidance, CV writing, help with job / volunteering applications, interview skills, plus volunteering opportunities as a community coach”.
