Fair Way to Fun

The fair’s rolled into town and as ever the air’s a buzz with all the thrills and spills of the ancient event.

Celebrating its 802 year on the streets of Loughborough the annual spectacle of heart -stopping rides, attractions and side shows, only cancelled twice most recently from Covid is as usual pulling in the crowds.

Although there’s a twist this time as the festivities have to work around the scaffolding about the HSBC following a fire at the beginning of the year but there’s no change to the number of rides.

Opened on Wednesday by Mayor of Charnwood, Tory Cllr Margaret Smidowicz the official fair proclamation was read.
