A car crashed into a motorcyclist at a junction with a busy road, described by the police as a crime scene.
It took some time to move the motorcyclist into an ambulance following the collision where Bainbridge Road meets Ling Road in Loughborough.
The driver of the wrecked motorbike seemed to have suffered some injuries following the collision at around midday today (28/02/26).
As an air ambulance circled overhead it appeared the driver of the car was taken into custody.
Several police and ambulances attended the incident and the east – bound lane was closed to traffic before the roundabout with Terry Yardley Way.
However on a social media page for the town Richard Hopper said: ” I stopped and walked over and asked about what actually happened as I’m a fellow biker and (it’s) also near to where I live. The police says he was more concerned about his bike and he wasn’t in a bad way, got off very lucky”.
Traffic was held up for some time with long tail – backs including the west – bound lane of the dual carriageway.
